False Allegations of Child Abuse – Custody
» During divorce proceedings, the father of a minor
was accused of molesting his son.
The divorce judgment granted custody to the mother with supervised
visitation to the father. I did not represent the father in the divorce.
After the divorce, the father retained me to represent him on new allegations
of abuse. After a 10- day trial, I was able to convince the court to
grant custody to the father and limit the mother’s contact with
the child to supervised visitation.
» A father retained me after having received only supervised
visitation in juvenile court.
After a thorough investigation, we were able to prove that the mother
coerced the children into making false allegations against their father.
At the conclusion of the proceedings, the father received custody of
the children, with the mother having supervised visitation.
